space holds a variety of different ways for creators to build their own regions.

Creators can make their own items in 3D software and import them into Unity to use in a region, they can use Unity's default primitives and also obtain items from the Unity Asset Store.

Unity has a terrain tool which allows the creator to make stunning landscapes; All they have to do is choose a paintbrush style and paint the terrain.


This how to will show you how to create your region, from setting up the scene to submitting it to space.


Setting up the Scene

For making regions, you will need to remove the main camera in the scene area. The main camera is not needed in a region as the camera used in world will be the camera attached to your avatar.

To remove the main camera, click on the main camera in the hierarchy and hit the delete button or right click and choose delete.

After placing your landmark, go to 'Space' at the top of Unity, and choose 'Scene Settings'.
