Both of these folks are really great at what they do, and very professional. Dr. Dautaj is simply wonderful. She has a very kind persona, and is really great at listening to your concerns. My wife is also a patient, and Dr. Dautaj went so far as to call her, unsolicited, after I mentioned that she was having some discomfort after a procedure. For my treatment Dr. Dautaj worked very hard to find the most expedient, and least costly way to solve my problems. I never feel that she is rushed in any way, and she explains everything in a very thorough way. There are some hygienists who seem to just "do the job". Candace seems to really be interested in dentistry, and is very diligent in her work. She gives very good dental advice, and does a very thorough job.

I just got Invisalign by Dr. Zoe Caufield-- and although the trays take getting used to, like with anything new, the office and doctor have been amazing. Dr. Caufield responds to texts on the weekends (!!!), and is so comforting and personable. Thus far I am extremely pleased and hopeful that my smile will look a hundred times better. She's incredibly thorough, staff is super friendly and patient, and overall I have only positive things to say. This is a wonderful dentistry office. My hygienist, Jamie, is the most thorough dental professional that I have ever met. She's thorough with teeth cleanings, but also very gentle. At this office, you usually book appointments repeatedly with the same hygienist, so building that rapport is also nice. My children also get their teeth cleaned here and the dentists and hygienists have been amazing.

My older son has difficult teeth and is a challenging patient, but they've been nothing but supportive, gentle, and kind with him. While your children have a cleaning or a procedure (like a cavity filled/sealants) they allow you to stay in the room with the child. That is very important to me. Also, the office staff are so extremely nice. It's a fantastic dentistry practice. I highly recommend it. I do not recommend this clinic to anybody. I have had a very bad experience with these guys. 820. I've wasted 3 hours on calls with them and I've been asking for their office manage. I was informed 4 times (each time I called) that the office manager will call me back. Until this day, I haven't heard back from the office manager. Very poor clinic, staff is not trustworthy and very unreliable. Dental Services recommended to me was found by two independent dentists to be unnecessary. Details: after x-raying me they gave me a plan that included few filling. 3 of them, the dentist said that for the next one she must do a crown. And that she doesn't need a crown where Dental Services said she needs. Would you believe that ?

Looking to find a better solution for your missing or damaged teeth? Dental implants are the closest product to your natural teeth. Unlike other procedures such as dentures and bridges, implants promote the health of the gum line and prevent further deterioration of the gums and jaw. Dental implants attach to the bone just as a tooth is meant to do. They do not depend on other healthy teeth for their support. Normally to insert a crown the dentist must first grind down and cap the tooth that the crown will use for support. Over time this causes decay to the once healthy tooth. With the help of the staff at our Las Vegas Dental Implant Center your implants can last a lifetime.

Implants from Las Vegas Dental Implant Center feel and function just like real teeth. They are securely attached to the jaw bone giving you the security of strong teeth. Crowns and bridges break, wear out and sometimes come loose from the tooth leaving you with costly dental repairs. At the same time the gums have no support and continue to deteriorate while the bridge sits on the top of the gum line. Adding support by attaching to the bone stops this deterioration, keeping the gums healthy and strong for years to come. The knowledgeable staff at Las Vegas Dental Implant Center wants to help restore your mouth permanently.

Most bridges only last up to 7 years and in the process can damage surrounding teeth causing more damage and more expense and pain. This surgical procedure attaches the tooth to the bone, making it a permanent alternative. With permanent implants there is no fear of eating your favorite foods, losing a crown, or shattering a deteriorating tooth. The implants are safe and secure and will never need to be replaced. Caring for the implants is the same as any natural tooth: simply brush, floss and visit a dentist every six months for checkups. Replacing lost or broken teeth has never been easier.

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root that is surgically anchored into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge in place. The benefit of using implants is that they don't rely on neighboring teeth for support and they are permanent and stable. Implants are a good solution to tooth loss because they look and feel like natural teeth. Implant material is made from different types of metallic and bone-like ceramic materials that are compatible with body tissue. How do they work? Strategically placed, implants can now be used to support permanently cemented bridges, eliminating the need for a denture. The cost tends to be greater, but the implants and bridges more closely resemble real teeth. Can anyone receive dental implants?

Talk with your dentist about whether you are an implant candidate. You must be in good health and have the proper bone structure and healthy gums for the implant to stay in place. People who are unable to wear dentures may also be good candidates. If you suffer from chronic problems, such as clenching or bruxism, or systemic diseases, such as diabetes, the success rate for implants decreases dramatically. Additionally, people who smoke or drink alcohol may not be good candidates. What can I expect during this procedure? The dentist must perform surgery to anchor the "artificial root" into or on your jaw bone. The procedure is done in the dental office with local anesthesia.

The gum is then secured over the implant, which will remain covered until it fuses with the bone. The dentist then uncovers the implant and attaches an extension, or post, to the implant. With some implants, the implant and post are a single unit placed in the mouth during the initial surgery. Finally, the dentist makes an artificial tooth, or crown, that is attached to the implant post. The process can take up to nine months to complete. Each patient heals differently, so times will vary. After the implant and posts are placed surgically, the healing process can take up to six months and the fitting of replacement teeth no more than two months. Sometimes, if a patient has good bone quality, posts can be placed and replacement teeth fitted in one appointment.

The success rate for implants depends on the tooth's purpose and location in the mouth, as well as a patient's overall health. Poor oral hygiene is a big reason why some implants fail. It is important to floss and brush around the fixtures at least twice a day. Your dentist will give you specific instructions on how to care for your new implants. Additional cleanings of up to four times per year may be necessary to ensure that you retain healthy gums. What is the cost of implants? Since implants involve surgery and are more involved, they cost more than traditional bridgework. However, some dental procedures and portions of the restoration may be covered by dental and medical insurance policies. Your dentist can help you with this process. One of the best stages during the life of a person is being a teenager. There are lots of fun and excitement involved during that period. However, there are also lots of responsibilities accommodated with been a teen, dental care being one of the most essential responsibilities. It is important to maintain a good dental hygiene at all times. These carbonated beverages contain high concentrations of sugar and flavors which are acidic in nature.

These additives eat in to the tooth's enamel slowly which would eventually lead to tooth decay in the long run. Most people have admitted that they started smoking between the ages of 13-15. Teenagers must be aware that smoking tobacco or chewing it stains the teeth badly. Oral piercings is popular amongst most teens these days.

Oral piercings have a wicked impact on your oral hygiene. Lip piercings could damage your gums and chip your teeth forming small cracks while eating, speaking or even sleeping and tongue piercings could fracture your teeth which will eventually need to be filled or crowned. To be on the safe side consult a dentist if you consider any oral piercings as it will help you to make a secure decision. Eating disorders can be categorized as Bulimia (binge eating and vomiting) and anorexia (the fear of gaining weight that often results in vomiting) are severe psychological disorders. These disorders erode the tooth enamel bringing about a bad tooth appearance. While a dentist can fix the deteriorated tooth these disorders need to be addressed by a psychiatrist. Teenagers live a stressful life, perhaps due to an examination or test results are soon to be published.

Dismally this stress could lead to involuntary grinding of the teeth which causes wear down of the tooth and in extreme cases opening or closing the mouth becomes difficult and painful. Since most teenagers are active and indulge in lots of physical activities wearing mouth guards for safety is such a good idea, it reduces the risk of tooth fractures and tooth loss.
