(More to come, still working on this page!)

This section explains how you can create and upload regions to the Space virtual world.

Setting Up A Scene

Open Unity and click on the scene button. You can create your own items to put in a region using 3D software and importing to Unity, you can also use the Unity Asset Store to find items and Unity also has a great terrain tool for making any type of terrain from flat to mountains.

Place all of the items and terrain you want into the scene, then delete the main camera in the scene.

Add a landmark component into your scene. This is used for making a user landing area in your region.

You can place new scenes in your scene, but this isn't needed if you are using multi-scene mode.

Follow these instructions on how to do this in detail: Region Setup and also watch this video tutorial: Region Setup

After placing your landmark, go to 'Space' at the top of Unity, and choose 'Scene Settings'.

Follow these instructions on how to set the scene/upload settings: Upload Settings or watch this video tutorial: Scene Settings
